About Our Organization
Save Elephant Foundation Trust was established with the objective of protecting and conserving wildlife in general and elephants in particular while ensuring the safety of human life and property affected by wildlife depredation.
The Trust works closely with local communities, forest frontline staff, researchers, conservationists and government agencies to restore peaceful coexistence between humans and elephants.
With increasing pressure on forests and wildlife habitats, human-elephant conflict has emerged as a major challenge in Odisha. The Trust strives to bridge the gap between local communities and forest departments through awareness, cooperation and practical conservation initiatives.
